The 39th week has begun! Jerry and I had a truly great weekend of just relaxing and spending some good, quality time together. Friday night we stayed in, ate dinner, watched a movie together, then shared some desserts and games with some of our neighbors. Saturday morning, Jerry got up and played a quick round of golf with a friend of his while I finished my sub plans (yep, they really are pretty much done other than any last minute additions of details!). After he got home, we cleaned up and went out to run an errand or two (actually bought baby gifts for other people!) then came home for a nice, rainy-day nap! We spent the rest of the night just relaxing, and Jerry cheered the UNC Tarheels to a victory over Duke. This morning, we went to church, stopped by for a visit with Jerry's mom, went to lunch, and got a couple of last-minute essentials for our hospital bag. The rest of today consisted of an afternoon nap (loving these naps!) and a Netflix movie. All in all, a very non-eventful weekend, but that made it awesome. We've spent a lot of time this weekend talking about how this may be our last weekend of "just us." We plan on really enjoying our time as a family of 2 up until we become a family of 3, whenever that may be!
Speaking of that, the whole "not knowing when" part is really starting to become difficult for me. Controlling, organized, to-do list ME is struggling big time! We've got our bags packed, car seat base installed, nursery ready, and all that good stuff! Now, we wait (something I'm just not the best at). So please, keep us in your prayers that when God decides to have this little girl make her appearance, we will be ready! Back to the doctor again tomorrow, so we'll see what he says!
