I hate that I haven't updated in over a month and that I don't update more often, but the busy-ness of life has gotten the best of me! Our sweet Audrey turned 7 months old this past Saturday, and we just can't get over what a big girl we have!

Now that she's 7 months old, Audrey...
is in 6-9 months sized clothing
still wears size 3 diapers
weighs over 20 lbs
takes formula like a pro (even the cheap, store-brand kind! YES!)
eats cereal everyday and baby food everyday
still doesn't take long naps, but sleeps like a champ every night (usually in bed between 7-8 and up around 6 or so)
LOVES pears and sweet potatoes
loves watching anything go on outside
wants to crawl and move around SO badly but just isn't strong enough to do it on her own
grabs and pulls EVERYTHING, including Mommy's hair
giggles and laughs at funny faces, noises, and much more
loves music and puppets on TV shows, especially "Jack's Big Music Show" and "Sesame Street"
lights up every time she sees Betsy, our dog
makes noises that are starting to sound like words (even though she doesn't know it)
has her bottom 2 front teeth poking through!

We are enjoying watching her grow and discover new things, as she is so curious about everything! It's a lot of fun! Our day to day lives are busy with work, and I hate that I don't see Audrey more than I do (especially because she goes to bed so early every night!), but I try to only focus on the time we do spend with her.
This past weekend, my parents, sister, and brother-in-law came to visit (Mom & Jill had fall break from school), and it was great to see them. My sister hadn't seen Audrey since the summer, and she was quite excited! We had a great time just spending time together and hanging out. On Saturday morning, we had family pictures taken because my mom wants to use them as Christmas photos and this is the last opportunity we'll have before the holidays arrive. While we were there, we decided to throw Audrey in a Halloween outfit and take a few shots of her in that (See the first picture above!). The pictures came out great. Also on Saturday, we went to the fair! My sister was so excited to visit the SC State Fair as it had been many years since she'd been able to go. It was REALLY busy, but we had a good time walking around, seeing the sights, and of course, eating the yummy food. Another special treat is that our good friend Heather happened to be in town and met us there along with her sweet little boy, Austin! Austin is just over a month older than Audrey, and the 2 of them were fascinated with each other. It was very cute! Audrey loved watching all of the people form her stroller as we walked around. Overall, we had a great weekend! Hopefully, I'll post again before Audrey is 8 months old, but man - how the time just flies on by!
