Audrey's First Photo Shoot!

I had been wanting to take Audrey to have professional pictures done for over a month now, but I hadn't gotten around to it. This past week, my mom and dad were in town visiting Audrey one last time before school starts. Since I knew I had the extra help around, I figured it'd be a perfect time to take her! We went to Portrait Innovations on Thursday morning excited to see how it would go. The photo shoot started out great! Audrey was all smiles and giggles! They had told us to bring an extra outfit or two to have varying pictures to choose from. After the first outfit change, Audrey continued to do pretty well. However, once we got into the 3rd outfit (which of course was my favorite - cherries!), she was ready to be done! She started fussing and rubbing her eyes (it was naptime already!). We eventually realized we needed to stop the session, but we were happy that the photographer had taken plenty of shots for us to choose from. Now came the hard part: deciding which poses/shots we wanted to actually buy! This was so difficult! We ended up buying WAY more than we intended (big surprise!), and had plenty of pictures to divvy up among family members! We look forward to going again for family pictures sometime. We enjoyed a really nice visit with my parents in town this past week. They helped me out a lot by coming up to my classroom with me. Mom watched Audrey while Dad and I moved furniture and got everything set up for this year. Friday, Mom and I took Audrey swimming. She enjoyed it much more this time and even took a nice nap in her float! My dad took plenty of pictures of their visit which are RIGHT HERE, but here's a couple of her swimming! We are going to try to hold on to these last couple of weeks of summer and make them last before Mommy has to return to work!
