Making Friends

I may have mentioned in earlier posts that my good friend, Carol, was pregnant right along with me. I was very happy to have a friend to share my experience with, and it was even better that Carol already had 2 children because she was able to share about her previous pregnancies and help prepare me for motherhood. Bert and Carol welcomed Heyward Daniel Crosby on March 28 (the day before his sister, Berkeley's, birthday!), not quite 2 weeks after Audrey was born! He weighed 8 lbs, 3 oz, and he's quite a cutie! Audrey and I visited them in the hospital, and it was fun to discuss how the two of them would become friends (as well as go ahead and prearrange their marriage of course! Ha ha!). The other day, I took Audrey over to Carol's house, and we took some pictures of our babies! Unfortunately, Audrey was very tired and fussy at the time (she was needing a nap), but it was still cute to see them lying next to each other! Heyward was cool as a cucumber!

We love the Crosby family and are very happy that Audrey has a playmate in Heyward! We also know we can count on excellent fashion advice from Heyward's big sister Berkeley and great jokes from big brother Harris!
